====== Getting Started ====== This documentation is for new users of CommandFusion hardware. It will serve as a guide to getting started with your hardware out of the box.\\ \\ A System Commander Quick Start Guide is available in both video and text format here. ===== First Steps ===== After you have unboxed your gear, the first step is to power it up and update the firmware. To power up your gear, power needs to be provided on the CFLink bus. See the documentation for more details on the CFLink bus. The bus will carry power to all connected devices. We offer a power supply in our store, however any 24V DC power supply suffice. A regulated power supply is recommended, but all devices will run on 9-30V DC range, so any power supply within those ratings should operate correctly (depending on your cable distances). For more details on updating firmware, please see the Updating Firmware documentation. ===== Configuration ===== Please ensure you have updated to the latest firmware as described above before configuring your hardware. System Commander can discover and configure devices over Ethernet (if you are using a LAN Bridge) or RS232 for any device with an on-board RS232 port.\\ \\ Download System Commander Here. ==== Configuration - When Controlling Via iViewer ==== If you are using iViewer to control CommandFusion hardware, you can use our guiDesigner plugin "CFLink Command Builder" to easily setup control of the hardware via guiDesigner.\\ ==== Configuration - When Not Controlling Via iViewer ==== Use the System Commander software to configure the devices properties as required, send test commands, and program rules and scheduling. ===== Quick Start Guide ===== For instructions on how to get started with System Commander and CommandFusion Hardware, see our System Commander Quick Start Guide. ===== Known Issues ===== None at this time. ===== Model Specific Information ===== * DIN-MOD4 - Modular controller * CF-Mini - All-in-one controller * LAN Bridge - Ethernet and RS232 Interface * IR Blaster - Flood IR output & input * SW16 - Button panel interface * IR Learner - USB Infrared learner * MOD-HRY2 - Relay module * MOD-RY4 - Relay module * MOD-LRY8 - Relay module * MOD-SSRY4 - Solid state relay module * MOD-IR8 - Infrared module * MOD-IO8 - Input/output module * MOD-COM4 - Serial port module
