====== MOD-IO8 Configuration ====== {{:hardware:modules:mod-io8:mod-io8_tab.png?nolink|}} ===== 1 - Enabled Checkbox ===== This checkbox allows you to enable or disable the module. You will need to press the ''Save'' button after you make a change. ===== 2 - Reporting ===== These options allow you to adjust how the module reports on the [[hardware:cflink|CFLink bus]]. Checking the ''Report On Change'' box will force the module to report every time there is a change on one of its ports. Entering a number in ''Report Interval'' section will force the module to report its status at the interval you set in seconds. You can use a combination of either, or both to achieve the desired reporting. Click the ''Save button'' to save your changes to the module. Click the ''Refresh'' button to retrieve the settings from the module. ===== 3 - I/O Port Settings ===== Set the I/O mode for each IO port here. The options are: * Dry contact input: open or closed * Resistance reading input: 0 - 10k Ohms in 100Ohm increments * Analog voltage reading input: 00.0 - 10.0 volts DC in 0.1V increments * Digital voltage reading input:Voltage below, or equal to/above threshold * Video sensing input: video sensed, or no video sensed * External Relay control output: open or closed * LED Output (5VDC, 1 mA): On or off Use the ''Min. Change'' section to adjust the point at which the module will report. This is the amount the value has to change by before the notification will be sent. If it is a greyed out 0, then the setting is not required for your selected I/O mode. Set the power on state for each port. This setting is only relevant to ports configured to one of the output modes. If you can not select anything apart from off, then the power on state has no effect with your selected I/O mode. Click the ''Save button'' to save your changes to the module. Click the ''Refresh'' button to retrieve the settings from the module. ===== 4 - Port Testing ===== This section reports the state of each I/O port and can be used for testing depending on the I/O mode selected.
